Guru Ravidass Ji taught the lessons of universal brotherhood, tolerance, message of love your neighbour, which got more importance in today’s world.
He spearheaded the fight against man-made discrimination based on caste, color, and creed. He preached the lofty ideas of Socialism, Secularism, Equality, and Fraternity.
Divine instruction contained in kirtan or hymns of Gurbani sung from Guru Granth Sahib offers the means to enlightenment. Thus whoever comes to the Bhawan to worship enters the door or gateway of the guru.
A place for the community
We provide a variety of services to our members at Bhawan. These services include prayer, Kirtan Durbar, and Sikh religious ceremonies & celebrations.
The Bhawan is managed by a committee and a group of volunteers who work for the community’s benefit. At any given time, there may be a large number of volunteers helping around The Bhawan.

One should not follow those entangled in the web of such worthless rituals but focus on true devotion and meditation of God to understand the ultimate reality.
True and Vehement devotee of Waheguru
Shri Guru Ravidas ji was a true and vehement devotee of Waheguru whose devotion and ardent divine love poured out in the form of spiritual poetry. His compositions expressed deep love and strong passion for Waheguru and Guru Arjan Dev ji decided to include his compositions in Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji.
By true love and devotion for Waheguru Bhagat Ravi Das ji got elevated. By praising the virtues of Waheguru and keeping the company of holy saints his status was uplifted in the society. By keeping Waheguru in his heart he was revered by the people from other castes too and he became pious and was emancipated.
